Ladysmith Volunteer Fair

National Volunteer Week 2024 runs from April 14th to 20th across Canada! We’re celebrating by hosting a Volunteer Fair:

The Ladysmith Community Fund Society is excited to announce a Volunteer Fair at the Aggie Hall in Ladysmith on Sunday, April 14th, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

The event is an opportunity for community organizations to tell the community what they’re doing, and how people can help. It’s also an opportunity for local people to explore ways that they can contribute to these organizations as volunteers or supporters.

The Volunteer Fair would not have been possible without a grant from Ladysmith Rotary, an organization that has been generous in its support of LCFS since its inception.

Organizations may book a table at the Volunteer Fair on a first come, first served basis. There is a fee of $25 per table to help us defray costs. You can download a registration form here.

Directions for Sending Interac ETransfers to the Ladysmith Community Fund Society

Please follow the instructions below.

  1. On your bank account, set up the Ladysmith Community Fund Society as a new e-Transfer recipient.

    2. Email –
    3. Preferred Language – English
    4. Send e-Transfer by – Email (We cannot accept e-Transfers by phone.)
    5. No password is required as our society has auto-deposit. 
  1. On your bank account, send the e-Transfer to and enter in the message field if this is for membership, sponsorship, event registration or donation to our operating expenses. (Donations to the endowment fund  must be done through the Nanaimo Foundation; see our Donations page.)
  1. If we are not expecting a payment, you may wish to send an email to  with your name, the purpose of the payment and the amount you have sent. 
  1. Once our Chair/Treasurer receives notice of your payment, he will email you back with a confirmation of receipt.
